This position is responsible for providing support to the Commercial Underwriting Department. The position will primarily support the VP of Commercial with reviewing and underwriting new business and renewal submissions. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the newly formed and expanding Commercial Division.

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Legal is responsible for all in-house legal functions. This position is responsible for managing contracts, providing legal advice and input, formulating policies, preparing regulatory filings, and other duties as appropriate.

The Application Developer and Consultant will support and maintain database driven web applications built using a combination of MS SQL, Custom Workflow engines, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and C#.

The Claims Adjuster Trainee will successfully complete training related to licensing, policy, systems, process and customer service. The Claims Adjuster Trainee’s caseload will begin with lower complexity claims and progress as skills develop. Assist policyholders throughout the claims lifecycle. The ability to work extended hours if needed based on customer and business needs, as well as in response to catastrophic weather events is required. A Florida 620 All Lines Adjuster license must be obtained within the first sixty days in the position.

The Claims Adjuster I will assist policyholders throughout the entire claims process. Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, based on customer and business needs, as well as in response to catastrophic weather, with travel as required. The Claims Adjuster I will handle a caseload which encompasses all levels of complexity for first-party claims, may include third-party and litigated claims, including establishing facts of loss, conducting proper reserve and coverage analysis, assessing and estimating property damage, assigning experts as needed, identifying potential fraud, complete file documentation and timely investigating claim for proper resolution. A competitive candidate will have a high level of technical competence, attend training, assist management with other duties and work collaboratively with co-workers.

The Customer Support team members play a critical role as the front line of our Service organization. This role is primarily responsible for assisting our agents and customers with inquiries on their policies and/or quotes, processing endorsements and any billing inquiries. This position works closely with all aspects of the organization including underwriting, claims, marketing, and accounting.
