Tropical Bay Insurance

Although Bill was born in Illinois, he is truly a Southwest Florida boy.  He grew up in Port Charlotte where he and his family moved when he was just twelve.  Once out of college, Bill began his career as a Farm Bureau agent and then went on to own his own agency, Tropical Bay Insurance.  His father, Bill Bay Sr., retired from the agency last year and his nephew Josh works with him now.  Tropical Bay is truly a success story, the agency has $500,000 in WP with Olympus and only 9% loss ratio. WOWSER!!! He successfully wrote 50 policies last year, with 1995 and newer/$250,000 in Coverage A minimum requirements in place!!!  Retention is 3% points above average for Sarasota County.

Bill is a model agent and family man who is also dedicated to his community.  Bill supports the Heron Creek Foundation which raises money for other non-profits in Venice, FL.  This foundation has awarded over $20,000 so far this year.  He is also very involved in his church.  He is happily married with two sweet children and other than spending time with his family, he also enjoys scuba diving, racquetball, wakeboarding, fishing, and golf.
