Here at Olympus, everyone is an important member of the team. When catastrophe strikes, it’s all hands on decks – answering the phones and helping our policyholders get their lives back is priority one. When Florida skies are calm, however, it’s our product managers who keep every region we serve updated, working closely with our partnered agents to help policyholders stay protected and informed.
Crystal McInnis, Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Crystal holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Florida and is currently working towards her CPCU designation. She launched her career in homeowners insurance in 1997 at a small, independent agency, and moved up through the industry working in standard market and excess and surplus, including growing a high value Lloyds book from the ground-up and working CAT claims for Tower Hill during the 2004 hurricane season. Crystal joined the Olympus team in 2008, serving as the Regional Product Manager of Northeast Florida. In 2017 she was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and in 2018 moved into the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where she continues to support the Product Managers.
Whitney Thomas, Central East and Northeast Coast
A graduate with an AA degree from Valencia College, Whitney joined Olympus in November 2007. She originally served on the administration side within the corporate office. Through her hard work and dedication, within a year she was working directly with the VP of Marketing, and subsequently moved into the field as the Regional Product Manager of Central Florida. Whitney is responsible for all agency relationships and appointments in her territory, as well as profitability and production.
Amy Banning, Northwest Florida
Amy began her insurance career with an entry-level position at an excess and surplus lines insurance wholesale operation in South Florida in 1994 and worked her way up to management. She subsequently moved to the Florida Keys to focus on personal and commercial lines production in a sales and service role with an independent insurance agency, then relocated to Tallahassee, where she quickly advanced to the position of Marketing Manager at the seventh largest independent insurance intermediary organization in the United States. Amy is responsible for overseeing underwriting and profitability in her territory, as well as sales and marketing.
Brittany Eldridge, Southeast Florida
Brittany obtained her BA from the University of Central Florida in Public Relations and Advertising, with minors in both Marketing and Sociology, and is working toward her CRM and CPRM designations. She joined the Olympus team in December 2013, leveraging her a background as a licensed producer and marketing manager for an independent agency to become the first Product Manager for her territory. Brittany is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and managing best in class relationships with agencies from St. Lucie County down through Monroe County.
Heidi Soukup, Northeast Inland & Central Inland
Heidi graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in England with a BA Hons in International Business, holds her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from the National Alliance, and is a licensed 2-20 agent. Her background in sales and marketing and experience working with a small personal lines agency before moving over to the carrier side prepared her for a position of more responsibility. Heidi joined the Olympus team in March of 2014, starting in agency operations at the corporate office, and now she is responsible for an entire territory of her own.
Without Crystal’s clear leadership and our dedicated regional product managers, Olympus would not be one of the top carriers in the Florida homeowners insurance market. We love them, and our agents and policyholders do too. A special thank you to the entire team as we move into 2019.
