Courtney A. Siders, Esq. serves as Chief Legal Officer & Chief Administrative Officer and head of compliance for Gemini Financial Holdings Corporation and its subsidiaries, including Olympus Insurance Company, a property and casualty insurance company; Radiant, a Bermuda Reinsurer, and Technology Enhanced Claims Handling (“TECH”), a claims company.
Ms. Siders earned her business degree from the University of Iowa and her Juris Doctorate law degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She began her legal career as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney in Chicago, prosecuting a broad range of felony criminal cases from sex crimes to homicides. Her experience in law includes almost twenty years of criminal and civil trial litigation, SEC and intercompany compliance, and transactional and contractual corporate law. In addition, Ms. Siders has a wide range of insurance experience, including property subrogation, first and third-party insurance defense matters, construction defects, product defects, sinkhole losses, premises liability, and water damage claims.
Prior to joining Olympus, Ms. Siders was a partner at the Florida law firm Powers McNalis, wherein she built, implemented, and managed the subrogation department for the firm. She managed a team of associates and handled large loss property subrogation matters, residential and commercial first and third-party insurance defense cases. As Chief Legal Officer, Ms. Siders is now responsible for overseeing all legal affairs, compliance, litigation, and corporate legal matters for Olympus Insurance and all company affiliates. She also has oversight of the subrogation department for T.E.C.H. and Olympus Insurance, including responsibility for team management and all in-house litigation. As Chief Administrative Officer, Ms. Siders also oversees all Human Resources functions for the organization.
