Courtney A. Siders, Esq. serves as General Counsel for Gemini Financial Holdings Corporation and its subsidiaries: Olympus Insurance Company, a Florida domesticate property and casualty insurance company; Gemini Re, a Bermuda-based reinsurance company; and T.E.C.H. a “Technology Enhanced Claims Handling” company.
Ms. Siders earned her business degree from the University of Iowa, and her law degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She began her legal career as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney in Chicago, Illinois; prosecuting a broad range of criminal cases from sex crimes to high profile murders and gang crimes. Her experience in the field of law now includes sixteen years of criminal and civil trial litigation experience, including a wide range of property subrogation and insurance defense matters such as residential and commercial fire losses, construction defects, product defects, sinkhole losses and water damage claims.
Prior to joining Olympus, Ms. Siders was a partner at the law firm of Powers McNalis; wherein she managed, implemented and built the subrogation department for the firm. She managed a team of associates and handled large loss property subrogation matters along with insurance defense cases. As Senior Corporate Counsel, Ms. Siders is now responsible for overseeing legal affairs and corporate legal matters for Olympus and the company’s affiliates. She is also in charge of oversight for the subrogation department for T.E.C.H. and Olympus Insurance, including responsibility for team management and all litigation.
