Agency Spotlight: AssuredPartners
AssuredPartners’ primary objectives are to help individuals and businesses protect their assets and recover from unexpected events. This is fostered by building strong relationships with clients and partners, through understanding their needs, and offering customized insurance solutions that meet their unique requirements. Olympus has a long-standing partnership with AssuredPartners, which is one of its largest agencies boasting a workforce of 100+ employees since their relationship began in 2008.
AssuredPartners originally started as a local personal lines insurance brokerage called Florida Insurance Specialists and merged with AssuredPartners in 2016 to provide insurance solutions across the nation. They have grown from two owners with just a few agents to now 100+ employees at the local branch level in Lake Mary, Florida.
When we asked their Marketing Manager, Monica Santiago, for three words to describe how they got where they are today, she stated by being, innovative, knowledgeable, and responsive. She went on to say, “This is supported by our strong management team, knowledgeable agents, and a deep agency culture. Everyone has a solid work ethic, are dedicated to their job and to our agency, have a positive attitude, and a willingness to go above and beyond.”
Regarding coverage and carrier placement, Monica added that “AssuredPartners believes in replacement cost with manageable deductibles on each policy. Each client may have different needs but in general our preferred three to ensure is sufficiently covered on a policy would be dwelling limit, personal property and liability. We choose Olympus because in an otherwise volatile insurance marketplace, they are a financially stable, responsible carrier. Olympus provides great coverage at a competitive premium and with excellent claim service to our fellow Floridians.”
AssuredPartners participates in volunteer days for at various events throughout the year including Baby DJ, which helps impoverished families provide for their children during the holidays and sponsorship of a blood drive during the summer. Staying up to date with changes in the insurance industry, maintaining a strong reputation for honesty and integrity, and being able to effectively manage risk is of overall importance for AssuredPartners. They encourage professional growth and learning with their Employee Appreciation Day and take time to create quarterly activities so their remote employees can connect in person.
In 2022 they were named a Top 100 Property/Casualty Agency by Insurance Journal and came in at #5 on the overall list. AssuredPartners motto is, ‘Power through Partnership’ and their focus is on Partnership, Expertise, and Innovation. But what it is really all about is, “The ability to effectively communicate with clients. This involves not only being able to clearly explain complex insurance products and policies but also listening to clients’ needs and concerns to ensure that they are getting the coverage that best fits their unique situation.”
